Command injection in Mitel SIP phones through 6.4 SP4 and 6970 units through 6.4 SP4 or V1 R0.1.0 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary commands. An undisclosed phone interface passes an insufficiently sanitized parameter into a command-execution context; Mitel does not identify the endpoint or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exploitation exposes or modifies configuration data and can disrupt phone availability and operation.
