Authenticated code execution via untrusted deserialization
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Untrusted deserialization in Microsoft SharePoint Server allows remote authenticated users to execute code over a network. Microsoft has not published the affected component, deserialization entry point, serialized format, or unsafe operation beyond the untrusted-deserialization classification. A user account with low privileges is required, and successful exploitation grants code execution on the SharePoint server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
