Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office allows local users to execute code by supplying maliciously crafted input. Microsoft identifies the flaw only at the Office suite level and has not published the affected parser, file format, or faulty copy operation. Local access is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with the privileges of the affected Office process.
