Application crash via null pointer dereference
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
NULL pointer dereference in Adobe Acrobat Reader 25.001.20521 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the parsing component or invalid state that causes Reader to dereference a null pointer. A victim must open the crafted file; the documented consequence is an application crash without reported data exposure or code execution.
