Sensitive memory disclosure via malicious file
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 10, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InDesign ID20.2 and ID19.5.3 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the incorrect bounds operation that reads beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and the exposed memory can reveal data used to bypass ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
