Browser script execution via unneutralized form fields
Published Jun 10, 2025 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.22 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in a victim browser. A low-privileged user can place malicious JavaScript in a vulnerable form field, which AEM subsequently presents without effective neutralization when another user visits the containing page. Exploitation requires both content-entry access and victim interaction; Adobe has not disclosed the specific field or underlying implementation locus.
