Authentication bypass via first-character token validation

Authentication bypass in ABB WebPro SNMP Card PowerValue products 1.1.8.k and earlier allows remote attackers to access the web HMI. The device web HMI validates only the first character of both the session cookie and authentication token, accepting arbitrary remaining characters. Access requires local-network position and user interaction; brute-forcing the two validated characters grants the HMI's authenticated privileges.
