Arbitrary code execution via modified layout files
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Deserialization of layout data files in SEL-5033 before 1.154.200.3500 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The application deserializes attacker-modified layout data from its installation directory without treating the file contents as untrusted. Exploitation requires authenticated local access and user interaction, and successful code runs through the affected application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
