Security constraint bypass via case-mismatched CGI paths

Improper case handling in Apache Tomcat allows remote attackers to bypass pathInfo security constraints on protected CGI resources. CGIServlet resolves a request path against a case-insensitive filesystem differently from the case-sensitive path used to apply security constraints. Exposure requires the disabled-by-default CGI servlet, a case-insensitive filesystem, and a constraint on URI pathInfo; a crafted URL reaches the protected resource without the intended authorization.
