Insecure temporary-file permissions in Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery before 5.5.15.1 allow local users to tamper with recovery information. Dell has not published the affected file-creation locus, temporary-file path, or permissions assigned to untrusted files. Exploitation requires low local privileges and user interaction and can corrupt information or interrupt the recovery environment.
