Browser script execution via reflected lang parameter
Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
Reflected XSS in Karaz Karazal through 2025-04-14 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a victim's browser via the lang parameter. The default URI reflects the lang query value into the returned page without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted link, after which the script executes in the Karazal origin and can read or modify browser-accessible data.
