Unauthenticated management-service activation via exposed endpoint
Published May 1, 2025 · Updated May 2, 2025
Access-control bypass in Tenda RX2 Pro 16.03.30.14 allows remote attackers to enable the ate management binary via an HTTP request. The web management portal accepts an unauthenticated request to /goform/ate and activates the otherwise disabled remote management service. Network access to the portal is sufficient; activation exposes a configuration service, while this flaw alone does not establish code execution.
