Archived-email disclosure via missing SameSite cookie
Published May 12, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in ARTEC EMA Mail 6.92 allows remote attackers to forward archived email through a malicious link. Authenticated session cookies lack the SameSite attribute, so browsers attach them to cross-site requests targeting the email-forwarding endpoint. Exploitation requires a logged-in victim to open the link and a permitted recipient address, exposing archived email to that recipient.
