Denial of service in ZTE MC889A Pro allows remote attackers to interrupt service through crafted Short Message Service interface parameters. The interface insufficiently validates input parameters before processing them, permitting malformed values to trigger the denial-of-service condition. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; ZTE has not disclosed whether the interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot.
