Command execution via unneutralized DDE expressions
Published Apr 27, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2025
DDE injection in ZTE GoldenDB allows remote authenticated users to execute commands when a user opens a crafted downloaded file. An unspecified GoldenDB interface writes attacker-supplied DDE expressions into a downloaded file without neutralizing the expressions. Exploitation requires high-privilege access to the network interface and a recipient to download and open the file, after which commands run in that user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.1.03 <=6.1.03.10
