CVE-2025-46568Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via WeasyPrint resource fetching

Published May 1, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2026

SSRF in Stirling PDF before 0.45.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files through URL-to-PDF conversion. The conversion path gives WeasyPrint attacker-controlled HTML references in img, embed, object, and related tags, causing local file contents to be embedded in the generated PDF. No authentication is required by the published assessment, and returned PDFs can expose configuration files and other data readable by the service account.
