Stored script execution via undisclosed input handling
Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in pReya External Markdown 0.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser. Patchstack has not published the vulnerable input field, rendering function, or missing output-encoding operation that stores attacker-controlled markup. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to submit the payload and user interaction to render the stored content, allowing script execution in the victim's browser context.
