Local file disclosure via incomplete module denylist

Information disclosure in Matthieu Maitre picklescan before 0.0.25 allows context-dependent attackers to exfiltrate local files via DNS. The scanner denylist omits the ssl and linecache modules, so a crafted pickle passes inspection while linecache reads a local file and ssl.get_server_certificate embeds its contents in attacker-controlled DNS queries. Exploitation requires a downstream process to deserialize the attacker-supplied pickle; disclosure is limited to files readable by that process.
