PIN brute-force weakness in EG4 Electronics inverters allows remote attackers with a valid serial number to gain unauthorized access via its API. The registered-product API accepts unlimited PIN guesses and explicitly identifies a correct PIN instead of throttling or locking repeated failures. Exploitation requires a valid device serial number; successful guessing exposes the associated system to unauthorized control.
