Insufficient password hashing in BUFFALO WSR-1800AX4-series firmware allows physically proximate attackers to obtain WPS or Wi-Fi credentials. BUFFALO has not disclosed the affected hash function, its work factor, or how the hash material used to recover those credentials becomes available. Exposure requires WPS to be enabled and the attacker to be within radio range; the reported consequence is disclosure of connection credentials.
