Unauthenticated UPS control via URL confusion

Authentication bypass in Vertiv RDU101 1.9.0.0 and earlier and IS-UNITY 8.4.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter UPS settings. The pldproxyweb FastCGI handler treats an authentication-exempt keyword anywhere in a requested URL as sufficient to skip authorization, allowing a protected operation named elsewhere in the URL to run. Access to the default-enabled web interface is required; exploitation uploads configuration data that changes credentials and grants control capable of shutting down managed UPS outputs.
