JavaScript execution via unescaped hidden input
Published Jul 24, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Reflected cross-site scripting in WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript. The PlaylistOwnerUsersId value is copied without HTML encoding into the value attribute of a hidden input in plugin/PlayLists/managerPlaylists.php. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL, after which attacker-supplied script runs in the victim browser and can perform actions with that session.
