Undefined behavior in Point Cloud Library before 1.15.0 allows context-dependent attackers to trigger undefined behavior during decompression. The bundled zlib inftrees.c code subtracts 257 from the lbase and lext array pointers, creating pointers outside their arrays before indexed access. Affected builds either predate 1.14.0 or use 1.14.0 and later with WITH_SYSTEM_ZLIB disabled; published sources establish no specific runtime outcome.
