CVE-2025-46355

SYSTEM code execution via user-writable DLL path

Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Incorrect default permissions in the PC Time Tracer client module before 5.2 allow local users to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges. When installed in a folder writable by standard users, the client loads a crafted DLL from that folder instead of only trusted libraries. A local user must be able to write there and trigger the client’s DLL load; successful exploitation grants SYSTEM-level code execution.
