CVE-2025-46347Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Server compromise via unrestricted preset extensions

Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 29, 2025

Remote code execution in YesWiki before 4.5.4 allows context-dependent attackers to compromise the server via a crafted CSS preset. The addCustomCSSPreset method passes an attacker-controlled preset filename and POST content to ThemeManager without restricting the extension, allowing a PHP file to be created in a web-accessible directory. File creation requires an authenticated session, which stored XSS can cause an unwitting user to supply; requesting the resulting PHP file then executes the injected code.
