CVE-2025-46265Network attack vector

Authenticated role escalation via external identity mapping

Published May 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Incorrect authorization in F5OS-A and F5OS-C allows remote authenticated users to receive higher-privilege F5OS roles. F5 has not disclosed the authorization locus or the operation that incorrectly maps LDAP, RADIUS, or TACACS+ identities to F5OS roles. Exploitation requires a remote account authenticated through one of those external identity services; the resulting role elevation permits access beyond the account's intended authorization.
