Stored script execution via unescaped post content
Published Apr 22, 2025 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Post in page for Elementor 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The Elementor widget insufficiently sanitizes and escapes contributor-controlled post content before rendering it into a page. Contributor-level access is required, and the script runs when a visitor opens the affected page, allowing actions in that visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
