CVE-2025-46205Network attack vector

Application crash via stale dictionary-object dereference

Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025

Heap use-after-free in PoDoFo 0.10.0 through 0.10.5 allows remote attackers to crash PDF-processing programs with a crafted PDF file. The reported PdfTokenizer::ReadDictionary flaw frees a heap object while parsing malformed dictionary entries and later dereferences the stale pointer. Processing the file in a utility such as podofopdfinfo is required; the supplier disputes the report because the proof file is unavailable for reproduction.
