Denial of service in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS and Prisma Access allows remote attackers to reboot firewalls via crafted dataplane packets. The dataplane packet-processing path improperly handles an unusual or exceptional condition in the packet and restarts the firewall. Exposure requires URL proxy or any decrypt policy; repeated packets can force maintenance mode and interrupt protected network traffic.
