CVE-2025-4617

Screenshot-control bypass via improperly protected alternate path

Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025

Insufficient policy enforcement in Palo Alto Networks Prisma Browser 142.15.6.0 through 142.15.6.60 allows local users to bypass screenshot controls. The vendor maps the flaw to improper protection of an alternate path but has not disclosed which Windows code path accepts a capture request without enforcing the configured control. A locally authenticated non-admin account on Windows is sufficient, and exploitation permits capture of browser content that policy was intended to block.
