Information disclosure via dbname SQL injection
Published Jun 3, 2025 · Updated Jun 3, 2025
SQL injection in FoxCMS 1.25 and earlier allows local users to read sensitive database information through the dbname form field. installdb.php insufficiently neutralizes the POST-supplied dbname value before a database operation, enabling time-based blind inference. The installation handler must be locally reachable; the published report establishes information disclosure but not data modification or service interruption.
