Server-side JavaScript execution via path traversal
Published Jun 13, 2025 · Updated Jun 13, 2025
Path traversal in Solon FAAS Luffy 3.1.2 allows remote attackers to load JavaScript outside the configured script directory via crafted HTTP paths. JtFunctionLoaderFile.fileGet passes an unvalidated path to fileBuildDo, allowing ../ or ..\ segments to escape the base directory before the selected file is loaded and executed. The application must expose LuffyHandler with JtFunctionLoaderFile, and the targeted JavaScript file must already exist outside the configured repository.
