Arbitrary command execution via improper certificate validation
Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
Command injection in Automai BotManager 25.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through BotManager.exe. BotManager accepts a crafted certificate or an intercepted TLS connection without proper validation, then passes attacker-supplied commands to the operating system. Exploitation requires control of the certificate presented to BotManager or the connection path, and commands run with the application's Windows account privileges.
