Browser script execution via stored page description
Published Jun 9, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Stored XSS in Anchor CMS 0.12.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted page description. The page-creation route in anchor/routes/pages.php stores the description field and later renders its script markup without neutralization. An administrator or editor account is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs in a visitor's browser when the saved page is revisited.
