Arbitrary file read via unsanitized path parameter
Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Jul 18, 2025
Relative path traversal in Simogeo Filemanager 2.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files via crafted HTTP requests. The filemanager.php endpoint accepts a path parameter whose traversal sequences are insufficiently sanitized before file operations in filemanager.class.php. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed preview requests can disclose arbitrary files accessible to the PHP process.
