API key modification via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP Zone AI Image Lab 1.0.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to change its API key via a forged request. The wpz-ai-images administration page accepts the API-key update without correctly validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to follow or submit attacker-controlled content; the resulting change is limited to the plugin's stored API key.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
