Database disclosure via injectable author sorting field
Published May 8, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
SQL injection in SLiMS 9 Bulian 9.6.1 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through the author listing. The author.php script decodes the fld query parameter and passes it into setSQLorder without validating the supplied column expression. The demonstrated request carries an active administrator session and uses time delays to infer data, with no demonstrated code execution or service interruption.
