Item deletion via nonce-free administrator request
Published Jun 4, 2025 · Updated Jun 4, 2025
CSRF in File Provider 1.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete stored items by inducing a logged-in administrator request. The options page accepts a POST containing option=remove and a folder_id value without validating a CSRF nonce before performing the removal. Exploitation requires an administrator's browser to submit the attacker's form, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of a selected item.
