Stored script execution via unsanitized description
Published Aug 1, 2025 · Updated Dec 1, 2025
Stored XSS in The Language Sloth Web Application 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via a crafted project description. The new-project workflow stores the Description field without neutralizing HTML or JavaScript, then renders the value whenever another user opens the page. Project-creation access is required, and execution occurs in a viewing user's browser, allowing the payload to act with that user's application privileges.
