Session hijacking via unsanitized imported service names
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated May 21, 2025
Stored XSS in Vtiger CRM Open Source Edition 8.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a Services CSV import. The Services import maps a crafted CSV value into the Service Name field and stores it without adequate neutralization for later page output. Opening the imported service record triggers the payload in the viewer's browser, exposing non-HttpOnly session cookies to script access.
