Admin-level code execution via malicious extension ZIP
Published May 21, 2025 · Updated May 22, 2025
Code injection in SeedDMS 6.0.32 allows remote authenticated users with administrator privileges to execute arbitrary PHP code. The Extension Manager installs an uploaded ZIP containing attacker-controlled PHP in conf.php, which SeedDMS loads during extension initialization. Administrator access and enabled extension import are required; successful exploitation runs code in the web server context and can establish remote server access.
