Stored XSS via unescaped Text Path attribute
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Elementor Website Builder 3.30.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the Text Path widget. The widget places insufficiently sanitized text into the data-text DOM attribute without adequate output escaping, allowing attribute content to become executable markup. Contributor-level access is required to store the payload, and it executes when a Chrome or Edge user opens the affected page.
