Login credential disclosure via frontend credential fetch
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Information disclosure in AVer PTC310UV2 0.1.0000.59 allows remote attackers to retrieve login credentials via a crafted web request. The web interface's SendAction("Get=acc") call fetches a username-and-password string from an endpoint and compares those values in frontend code. Exploitation requires browser interaction with the network-reachable login page; an unauthenticated requester can read the camera's plaintext web credentials.
