CVE-2025-45529Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary file read via path-filter bypass

Published May 27, 2025 · Updated May 27, 2025

Path traversal in SSCMS 7.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files through a crafted templates editor request. The ReadTextAsynchronous routine accepts directoryPath and fileName values whose parent-path filtering can be bypassed with repeated dot-and-slash sequences, then reads the resolved path. Access requires a valid bearer token, and successful exploitation discloses files readable by the SSCMS service account.
