Stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized profile name
Published May 11, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Web-based Pharmacy Product Management System 1.0 lets remote authenticated users run scripts in another user's browser. The edit-profile.php handler writes the fullname parameter directly to the database, and the profile view outputs the stored value as executable markup. A logged-in user can plant the payload; script execution requires another user to view the stored profile data.
