Authenticated database read and write via sortid
Published May 11, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
SQL injection in LmxCMS 1.41's POST Request Handler allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data through sortid. manageZt passes the user-supplied sortid value through ZtModel::sort and Model::updateModel into db::updateDB, which concatenates it into an SQL WHERE clause executed by mysql_query without validation or parameter binding. A valid administrative PHP session is required to reach the affected endpoint; crafted POST data can disclose or modify database contents.
