Unauthenticated code execution via filename SQL injection
Published Jul 29, 2025 · Updated Jul 29, 2025
SQL injection in Bacula-web before 9.7.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted HTTP GET request. The getJobFiles method in application/Table/JobFileTable.php interpolates the filename filter directly into SQL WHERE predicates instead of binding it as a parameter. Successful exploitation requires unspecified high-complexity conditions but no authentication or user interaction and results in arbitrary code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
