Subscriber-level settings modification via unchecked AJAX handlers
Published May 14, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in Uncanny Automator 6.4.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify plugin integration settings. Multiple App Integration wp_ajax handlers, including the referenced Keap helpers, accept settings-changing requests without verifying an administrative capability. A subscriber account and valid session suffice; changes can alter or disrupt configured integrations, while confidentiality impact is not reported.
