CVE-2025-45156Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Real-time location tracking via unenforced polling interval

Published Jul 18, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Access control failure in Splashin iOS 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to track assigned targets in real time via direct API calls. The get_user_locations_by_user_ids_minimal endpoint accepts repeated authenticated requests without enforcing the free tier’s 600-second server-side interval. A free-tier account and an assigned target are required; repeated responses disclose current coordinates, activity, and device status.
