Reflected XSS via unencoded action parameter
Published May 10, 2025 · Updated May 12, 2025
Reflected XSS in Inetum IODAS 7.2-LTS.4.1-JDK7 and 7.2-RC3.2-JDK7 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. The /astre/iodasweb/app.jsp endpoint reflects the action query value into its response without validation or output encoding, so event-handler JavaScript executes in the victim browser. A victim must follow the crafted URL; the script then runs in the IODAS origin and can perform actions available to that browser session.
